Our Story
The founder, a once homeless veteran, had no where to turn when a small local nonprofit provided the resources he needed to gain self sufficiency. He vowed to one day do the same for other veterans in need. Our vision is to turn donations into various resources veterans greatly need from employment to housing to small business entrepreneurship.
Who We Are: A 501(c)(3) nonprofit started in Washington, DC in 2010 and incorporated in 2011. HP is comprised of hardworking and passionate board members and wonderful gracious volunteers who serve as subject matter experts in their field.

Help all veterans by offering a wide-range of services that will help them to be self sufficient. We aim to be a leading provider of services that improve the lives of veterans and their families by providing the highest quality of services and by continuing to create opportunities in the areas of employment, entrepreneurship and housing.
